I just repeated this cupping and scrunching step about ten or twelve times until my hair stopped dripping profusely but was still making squishy sounds when I squeezed it. Some of the conditioner will drop out with the excess water. Then I took the water I caught and basically scrunched it into my hair full of conditioner.
